“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.’”
James 1:17

Another Christmas season is upon us, and here at the ACLJ, we’re gearing up to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The fact that it’s been another difficult year for many is not lost on us.

At the ACLJ, we want you to know that we see you and we’re here for you. Christmas signifies newness, a fresh start, the promise of salvation and of HOPE. And as that verse from Scripture tells us, regardless of changing Administrations and lawmakers, the source of our hope – our Savior, Jesus – does not change. Ever.

On Christmas morning in Bethlehem more than two thousand years ago, God’s only begotten Son was born. Following the star, those who came to bear witness to the birth of our Lord traveled far and wide to honor him with gifts. Yet, on that morning, the greatest gift of all was Christ’s very birth.

And since that morning, the world has been blessed with free access to eternal life, peace that surpasses understanding, and, again, the promise of hope. I encourage you to rest in that truth this blessed week of Christmas and into the New Year, regardless of the turmoil the world is currently facing.

This Christmas, I pray that you and your loved ones are able to tune out the sensational headlines and the vitriol online and focus on what truly matters most – that God so loved us that he sent his son Jesus, born in a humble stable, to gift us with the greatest hope mankind has ever known. No governments or pandemics can ever overshadow that.

Of course, that doesn’t make life’s problems go away. The ACLJ is working tirelessly this Christmas season to defend your liberty – including protecting the lives of the unborn, standing up for the families of our fallen soldiers and the wreaths placed on veterans’ graves, filing a new brief at the Supreme Court due in just days as we battle Biden’s overreach, even defending Christmas displays under attack. And we are already preparing for the coming challenges of 2022 as we continue to fight the lawlessness of the Biden Administration, the radical Left, and the abortion industry. We are well aware that the new year will bring with it new challenges and new legal battles.

This will also be an important year as midterm elections are looming in November. It is imperative that we all be informed and engaged, and the ACLJ will continue to provide you with the resources you need to do just that.

Celebrate this Christmas knowing that because of your steadfast support, the ACLJ is ready for the New Year. We are redoubling our efforts to defend our Constitution, expose the Deep State, defend religious liberty and persecuted Christians both here at home and around the world, and to save precious unborn babies, just as one innocent baby was born to save us all.

On behalf of my family and the entire ACLJ team, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.
