It’s another example of the vipers in the swamp turning on each other.

On today’s broadcast, we discussed former Obama-era Attorney General Loretta Lynch –whose secret runway meeting with former President Bill Clinton during the 2016 campaign and the investigation of then-candidate Hillary Clinton raised all of our suspicions – now accusing former FBI Director James Comey of lying about her involvement and the investigation.

Testifying before the House Intelligence Committee in 2017, Comey claimed the former AG pushed him to mischaracterize the FBI investigation of candidate Hillary Clinton:

“The attorney general had directed me not to call it an investigation, but instead to call it a matter, which confused me and concerned me. That was one of the bricks in the load that led me to conclude, ‘I have to step away from the department if we’re to close this case credibly.’”

Now, Lynch has fired back, accusing Comey of mischaracterizing the nature of their discussion. In testimony from a joint closed-door session of the House Oversight and Judiciary Committees that has just been released, Lynch stated:

“I was quite surprised that he characterized it in that way. We did have a conversation about it, so I wasn’t surprised that he remembered that we met about it and talked about it. But I was quite surprised that that was his characterization of it, because that was not how it was conveyed to him, certainly not how it was intended.”

Now that new Attorney General Bill Barr is investigating the Justice Department and FBI in their handling the presidential campaign investigation, the Left and the D.C. swamp creatures appear to be in turmoil.

The vipers are rearing their heads again, but now they’re desperately striking at one another.
