President Trump has given the Attorney General authority to shine a light on the swamp in Washington, and the swamp creatures are scurrying.

Today on the broadcast, we discussed President Trump giving authority to Attorney General Bill Barr to declassify documents related to the 2016 election, including spying on campaign members.

The White House released an official statement saying:

“Today, at the request and recommendation of the Attorney General of the United States, President Donald J. Trump directed the intelligence community to quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation into surveillance activities during the 2016 Presidential election.

The Attorney General has also been delegated full and complete authority to declassify information pertaining to this investigation, in accordance with the long-established standards for handling classified information. Today’s action will help ensure that all Americans learn the truth about the events that occurred, and the actions that were taken, during the last Presidential election and will restore confidence in our public institutions."

Not surprisingly the first Democrat to critique this move was Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) who took to Twitter inaccurately and laughably accusing the President of “stonewalling” and “conspiring to weaponize law enforcement.” Schiff had the gall to call the President giving AG Barr the power to provide the American people with true transparency “un-American.”

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) stated in an interview that he was “baffled” by the President’s memo and called investigating the investigators a distraction.

As we pointed out, there’s been misconduct going on for over two years, as Deep State actors tried to block the President’s election and the hamper his ability to lead.  Now it will be exposed, and the den vipers can sense it.

I put it to Rep. Schiff: “What is it you’re so afraid of?” This isn’t a distraction, nor is it retribution. This is getting to the facts. It’s just bringing the facts to light. Quite frankly, the American people deserve to know if our intelligence community has gone dirty. That’s the only way to clean it up.
