The smoking gun against former FBI Director James Comey has been revealed.

Today on Sekulow, we discussed the breaking news that then FBI Director James Comey wrote to then Director of National Intelligence James Clapper in 2017 saying that the FBI couldn’t corroborate the Steele Dossier. He then – on the same day – signed a FISA application based on that uncorroborated information anyway.

This is exactly why Special Counsel John Durham is still on the case. Remember, the Biden Administration has not removed him as Special Counsel. They have let him continue to do his work.

What James Comey said to former DNI Clapper was that they were not able to “sufficiently corroborate” the reporting of the Steele Dossier. He had concerns specifically with Clapper’s statement.

Former DNI Clapper was planning to say the following:

The IC has not made any judgment that the information in the document is reliable.

FBI Director Comey pushed back and said that the dossier was reliable, even after he had just told Clapper that they couldn’t “sufficiently corroborate” it.

As we know, former FBI Director James Comey signed the FISA application pointing to the Steele Dossier and the false information it contained as the main justification as to why the application was granted. He signed that application on the same day he told the then-Director of National Intelligence that the FBI could not corroborate what was in there.

We now know that the Steele Dossier has been completely discredited and that it was part of the bogus Russia Collusion narrative. This speaks to the work that we at the ACLJ have done and are continuing to do to expose Deep State corruption under the Obama Administration and now it’s continuation under the Biden Administration.

ACLJ Director of Government Affairs Thann Bennett gave his analysis of this latest revelation:

This is one of the reasons why I really hope that James Comey doesn’t fade from public view, because I still think there’s an awful lot of accountability to be had, really in a lot of different layers in the FBI, particular former FBI Director James Comey. This is a guy [who] spied on an American citizen. He did it for a political agenda. I think we can state that as conclusive fact, now. He did it using information that he knew at the time to be unverified. Before this revelation today, it certainly looked like he did it while lying to the FISA Court about whether or not that information was reliable. Now we know that it is true because in this email he says to former DNI James Clapper that, ‘We are not able to sufficiently corroborate the reporting’, and yet he pushes for the FBI to actually present to the FISA Court as if they can corroborate it.

They were caught lying to the FISA Court, and here we have yet another instance of dishonesty and impropriety.

The full broadcast is complete with much more discussion by our team about this new Comey-Clapper email and the implications it makes.

We also want you to join us in prayer for everyone affected by the recent ice storms.
