The crisis at our southern border is getting much worse as criminal organizations trafficking women, children, families, single adults, and drugs are getting rich off of the crisis – all while the Biden Administration does nothing.

Today on Sekulow, we discussed the escalating crisis at the border. It is being reported that human traffickers at the border are making as much as $14 million dollars a day. We were also joined by former Secretary of State and ACLJ Senior Counsel for Global Affairs Mike Pompeo.

Imagine how much that number will have risen by the time we get the March information. The $14 million dollars a day is just for the month of February. These criminal organizations are using the weakness of the Biden Administration’s strategy at the southern border to enrich themselves.

Words matter when you are President of the United States. When you basically tell the world that you’re going to open up the border again, they take you at your word. This is costing the United States dearly. It is costing us monetarily and is creating a national security threat. It is also creating a humanitarian crisis on the US-Mexico border.

This situation went from a non-crisis under the Trump Administration to an undeniable crisis under the Biden Administration, due to the words and policies utilized by the current Administration, hamstringing the border patrol.

Think about this $14 million-dollar-a-day number. These criminal organizations are trafficking women, children, families, single adults, drugs, and everything that goes with that. The traffickers themselves are earning up to that much a day. On top of that, the Biden Administration is spending $86 million dollars on a contract for hotel rooms to hold 1,200 migrant families as the crisis exceeds the ICE-holding capacities. The U.S. government is spending an absurd amount of your money while the bad guys are making a considerable profit.

And yet, astonishingly, the Biden Administration is still unwilling to recognize the problem they caused. As ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow noted, “When you refuse to identify the problem, you are incapable of solving it.”

Even worse, the Biden Administration is actually trying to blame the Trump Administration. There are people being interviewed who said they would not have tried to come in under President Trump, but President Biden has basically invited them in.

Former Secretary of State and ACLJ Senior Counsel for Global Affairs Mike Pompeo joined us on the show, and he touched on this border crisis and the Biden Administration’s role, saying:

He [President Biden] invited them in. He created an incentive for them to come and these people, these poor desperate people, are now coming and they’re coming in droves. It is an enormous humanitarian crisis. It’s also a crisis for the United States.

Make no mistake about it. We are in this situation because of the Biden Administration.
