It’s been all too clear for far too long – President Obama’s foreign policy is a disaster.

But specifically, President Obama’s continued capitulation towards Iran, the world’s largest exporter of terror, makes the world a more dangerous place.

The United States recently seized 1,500 AK-47s, 200 RPG launchers, and 21 .50-caliber machine guns headed to Houthi rebels in Yemen. Where did these weapons come from? Iran.

This isn’t an isolated incident. Here’s more:

Eight days earlier, the French navy destroyer FS Provence seized a shipment of arms that included nearly 2,000 AK-47s, 64 Dragunov sniper rifles and nine anti-tank missiles.

The Royal Australian Navy’s HMAS Darwin intercepted a dhow on Feb. 27 carrying a similar cache of arms.

Numerous times over the last few months, Iran conducted ballistic missile tests, launching rockets capable of reaching Israel in direct violation of U.N. Security Council resolutions.

The UAE Ambassador to the U.S. says it all too well in a recent op-ed in The Wall Street Journal:

Sadly, behind all the talk of change, the Iran we have long known—hostile, expansionist, violent—is alive and well, and as dangerous as ever. . . . In December, Iran fired rockets dangerously close to a U.S. aircraft carrier in the Strait of Hormuz, just weeks before it detained a group of American sailors.

How does the Obama Administration react to Iran’s continued aggression and support of anti-Israel and anti-U.S. jihadists around the world? What is their response to Iran flouting numerous sanctions?

The Administration has begun preparations to ease even more sanctions and allow Iran limited access to U.S. dollars. And President Obama says truly inane comments about the “letter” of the nuclear agreement versus the “spirit” of the nuclear agreement.

“Iran so far has followed the letter of the agreement, but the spirit of the agreement involves Iran also sending signals to the world community and businesses that it is not going to be engaging in a range of provocative actions that are going to scare businesses off,” Obama said at a press conference.

“When they launch ballistic missiles with slogans calling for the destruction of Israel, that makes businesses nervous.”

Mr. President – it makes a lot more than just businesses nervous.

It makes Israel nervous, because Iran has said and shown that they are willing to do anything possible to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.

It makes our other allies around the world nervous because Iran continues to be the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.

And it should make the United States extremely nervous because Iran shows no signs that they are planning to be a good faith member of the international community any time soon.

In fact, by not following the so-called spirit of the Iran nuclear agreement, Iran could continue towards becoming a nuclear power and then use those ballistic missiles to attack Israel or possibly even the United States, who they continue to call “the Great Satan.”

We have zero reason to believe Iran will back down any time soon. They continue to export terror. The only thing that will stop them will be steadfast American leadership, which seems to be deteriorating more and more every day under Obama Administration policy.

This is why I’m writing a new book that will be released this fall, detailing the history of radical Islam and Iran’s unique place in it.

This is why our offices continue to work around the world – on Capitol Hill, in Jerusalem, in Europe, and beyond – to urge the free world to stand up to radical Islam wherever it is.
