Adam Schiff’s impeachment circus continues.

On today’s Jay Sekulow Live we continued to break down and analyze the impeachment inquiry process and the public hearings.

Today former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch testified before the House Intelligence Committee. She was recalled from that position in May before the July phone call between President Trump and the president of Ukraine. She had no first-hand knowledge of the call. She got the transcript when the rest of us did.

Yamiche Alcindor said on MSNBC that Adam Schiff called Ambassador Yovanovitch to testify in order to provide emotional testimony.

They want Marie Yovanovich to be there because I’m told she cried during her deposition, so she’s really someone there to be emotional so that people can feel sympathetic and see that there were actual victims in the US government to president Trump’s policies and to president Trump to try to get the Ukraine to investigate the Bidens and the democrats.

There were policy disagreements she had with President Trump. There were also some policies she did agree with, like arming the Ukrainians, unlike President Obama. Ambassador Yovanovitch praised President Trump’s policy of sending arms, also known as providing lethal aid.

Thirteen thousand Ukrainians died since Russia annexed Crimea. And there is one glaring reason: The Obama Administration refused to provide any lethal aid to fight back against the Russians.

She was appointed to the position of Ambassador to the Ukraine by President Obama. President Obama fired all the ambassadors when he took office and put his own people into those positions. That’s what presidents do.

Ambassador Yovanovitch was recalled from her position as Ambassador to the Ukraine by President Trump, not fired. She is still on the State Department’s payroll serving as a Senior State Department Fellow at Georgetown University.

If a country’s diplomatic post is run by the bureaucracy and it becomes more important due to changing circumstances, more attention is paid to it by the current Administration. That can create some tension and policy disagreements between the Administration and the career foreign service officers. That’s what we’re seeing unfold here.

Ambassador Yovanovitch’s feelings and opinions on policy differed with the current Administration. That’s all that happened.

ACLJ Director of Government Affairs Thann Bennett pointed out that “during Ambassador Yovanovitch’s testimony she reiterated that she thinks the new policy is working. She also said that President Trump has the right to remove an ambassador.”

We also discussed on the show how House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Devin Nunes took the time at the hearing to read the first Ukraine call transcript aloud. In it you’ll find nothing about the Bidens and nothing about conditioning aid.

There was no “you have to do this” to have a meeting at the White House. In fact they talked about having a meeting.

But remember Adam Schiff created and read a parody of the July 25th call transcript at a hearing in September, completely misrepresenting that phone call. More theatrics in the Schiff impeachment circus.
