They searched his former office. They searched his primary residence in Delaware. Now the FBI is searching President Joe Biden’s beach house in an attempt to locate even more classified documents.

As reported by Fox News:

FBI agents searched President Biden’s vacation home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, on Wednesday for three-and-a-half hours but did not find any additional classified documents, the president's attorney Bob Bauer said.

“Today, with the President’s full support and cooperation, the DOJ is conducting a planned search of his home in Rehoboth, Delaware. Under DOJ’s standard procedures, in the interests of operational security and integrity, it sought to do this work without advance public notice, and we agreed to cooperate," Bauer said in a statement.

It’s great that the President is cooperating with the FBI, but as we now know, the DOJ came very close to obtaining a search warrant on Biden’s primary residence if he didn’t cooperate. That means they have probable cause that a crime has been committed. And if the FBI believes there’s been a crime, they wouldn’t hesitate to obtain a search warrant to go through the vacation house as well.

It’s certainly clear that this is a criminal investigation. And you wouldn’t appoint a Special Counsel if you didn’t at least suspect a crime. The question is, why did President Biden have all these classified documents? Was he using them or planning to use them – whether for political gain or even simply to write a book? Such actions could potentially lead to even more charges.

As my dad, ACLJ Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow (who has serious experience dealing with Special Counsel investigations), explained:

Here’s the issue, and this is where they’ve gotten it wrong, and the problem that these lawyers did, was first of all, they got the White House counsel involved. It made no sense. . . . [O]nce you started negotiating access to the current President’s house, which they had to do – remember, if they didn’t consent to the search of the home in Delaware, what was going to happen? They were going to get a search warrant, which means probable cause that a crime has been committed.

Now here’s the problem. They are doing this to the former President of the United States, the current President of the United States, the former Vice President of the United States, and you know whose fault this is, in my view? The National Archives. . . .  If I were Merrick Garland and I were the Department of Justice’s Attorney General, you know what I’d say at this point? Having Special Counsels is not the way to move forward on this. I think that’s a big mistake.

My dad also mentioned our urgent FOIA request that we filed against the National Archives, demanding all records and communications between the National Archives and the Biden team related to these documents to find out what on earth is going on there. This is highly classified information just turning up here, there, and everywhere. Who is protecting our national security if not the President?

Today’s full Sekulow broadcast includes more critical analysis of this latest development in the saga of classified documents. We also give an update on our latest case defending free speech and religious freedom, representing students who we told you had been kicked out of the Smithsonian – a federally supported museum – because their hats said “pro-life.” It’s outrageous. It’s unconstitutional. And we’re fighting back.
