In Just 10 Months, President Biden Has Shredded the Constitution and Put Life, Religious Liberty, and National Security In Jeopardy

It’s now been a year since Joe Biden was elected President of the United States, and the results have been even more disastrous than even we could have predicted. The Biden Administration immediately launched an all-out assault on life, conservative values, and the Constitution.

Abortion

President Biden will likely be remembered as the most pro-abortion President in history – how ironic considering in 2012, Biden actually said:  "Life begins at conception.”

Of course President Biden has since publicly flip-flopped on that position capitulating to the radical Left, but he didn’t need to tell us. His actions have made it tragically clear.

In his first week in office, President Biden announced he would revoke the Mexico City Policy – the pro-life policy that we submitted public comments supporting – that blocked federal (taxpayer) funding to foreign NGOs if they perform or promote abortion as a method of family planning in other nations. In other words, he took immediate action to ensure that federal taxpayer dollars would fund abortions internationally.

But not forgetting innocent babies here at home, the President then nominated former California Attorney General Xavier Becerra to be Secretary of Health and Human Services. Becerra came with a 100% approval rating from Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America.  We urged the Senate to reject Becerra’s nomination.

President Biden also announced plans to reverse the Title X rule issued by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that blocked millions in taxpayer funding from abortionists, including Planned Parenthood. Quite an about face from a President who once said, "I do not vote for funding for abortion."

We asked all ACLJ members to take action with us and file their own public comments opposing the Biden reversal of the Title X rule.

Then we told you how President Biden used COVID-19 as an excuse to suspend a rule requiring medicated abortions and abortion pills to be administered under the supervision of a doctor. Now, unless a state has passed a law saying otherwise, they can be delivered by request through the mail without any medical supervision whatsoever, essentially turning your mail carrier into an unwitting abortion provider.

We filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to essentially find out why the Biden Administration feels that making abortions available by mail is more important than safeguarding women’s health.

Now the Biden DOJ is attempting to shut down a critical pro-life Texas law we’ve supported in court that blocks abortion once a heartbeat has been detected. As we told you, that lifesaving legislation is before the Supreme Court right now, and we filed a critical amicus brief with the high Court.

Crisis at the Border

During his campaign, Biden said “not another foot of wall would be constructed” to protect our southern border. His message was heard by the more than 1.5 migrants who have illegally crossed into the United States under the President’s incompetence and naivete.

Shortly after taking office, we told you the President placed Vice President Harris in charge of the border, and she promptly went MIA. In fact, she claimed it wasn’t a priority to go to the Mexican border because there wasn’t an immigration crisis, but a “climate crisis.” It took VP Harris 100 days to finally announce she would go to the border – and then she went to the wrong part, knowing there’d be no crisis to see. It might have been funny, if we hadn’t watched babies being dropped over the border wall by unscrupulous coyotes.

Border patrol agents are overrun. Thousands of migrants are pouring into our country every day. At the time of this writing, a surge of 19,000 migrants is headed for our border. And when they arrive, President Biden will likely provide them with housing and pay for their legal representation. Imagine how many Americans can’t afford either RIGHT NOW.

To add insult to injury, now the Biden Administration wants to cut a check for $450,000 to individuals who illegally crossed our border during the Trump Administration – yes, you read that right – not our veterans who risked everything for this country, and not underprivileged American children. The Biden plan is to give illegal migrants nearly half-a-million dollars and permanent resident status.

America is a nation of immigrants. We welcome those who come in search of safety or a better life, entering through the proper legal channels, filing the correct paperwork, etc. But this plan is nothing short of an outrage.

We’ve filed a FOIA lawsuit against the Biden Administration over the border crisis and we’re demanding action.

Afghanistan

Turning his back on Americans in need has become President Biden’s modus operandi. One need only look at the absolute debacle he created in Afghanistan by pulling U.S. troops out too quickly, allowing the Taliban to immediately seize control, and abandoning Americans and our Afghan allies. As we told you:

This Administration has allowed the Taliban to fully take over the country on their terms, not America’s. It has left millions of dollars of American military equipment and arms behind for the Taliban to do with as they please. It has placed American diplomats and American troops still serving there in harm’s way by not executing an orderly evacuation prior to the rapid deterioration of the security situation. It has been a total disaster.

That disaster needlessly cost the lives of 13 more U.S. servicemen and women in a deadly airport attack. An attack he inexplicably blamed on his predecessor, President Trump.

We filed a FOIA to get to the bottom of President Biden’s botched Afghanistan strategy. The President must be held accountable for abandoning Afghan Christians, helpless women and children, and American citizens.

Foreign Policy

The Biden Administration seems to be more concerned with capitulating to hostile governments than to the American people. Shortly after Biden’s inauguration, his Administration immediately reached out to Iran – the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism – seeking renewal of the flawed and unrealistic nuclear agreement.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said he was approached about restarting negotiations and stated Iran wanted ten billion dollars in cash just to begin talks. And as we reported months ago, Iran has already formed a dangerous alliance with China. The two nations have forged a reported $400-billion-dollar deal. Yet President Biden continues to court Iran, while they make his Administration look foolish and weak.

As does China, which the Biden Administration has already admitted the President has essentially taken his hands off the wheel and is prepared to let China steamroll over the world.

We recently reported how over 56 Chinese bombers and other aircraft crossed internationally recognized boundaries and flew into Taiwan’s airspace. It was a clear provocation to Taiwan, the United States, and the entire region. China is testing our mettle. And so far, we’re failing. When asked about the recent Chinese missile test, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said, “we welcome stiff competition.” Stiff competition? These are deadly weapons. It’s terrifying that the Biden Administration is treating it as a game.

China wants to see how far it can push under this weak, new Administration. We’re afraid to know the answer ourselves.

Israel

The one nation that the Biden Administration doesn’t seem interested in defending is our actual ally, Israel.

This past spring, Hamas launched another deadly attack against Israel, firing rockets at Israeli land and people on Jerusalem Day. The attacks came about a month after the Biden Administration stated its intentions to give $125 million in aid to "Palestine" to "regain their 'trust and goodwill' after the Trump-era cuts."

President Biden also announced plans to resume aid to the notorious Palestinian Authority (PA) – a direct violation of the Taylor Force Act, which blocks U.S. funds from being sent to the PA as long as it continues its “Pay for Slay” program which incentivizes terrorists.

It is essential that the U.S. stand in solidarity with Israel – not fund the enemies who seek to wipe Israel from the face of the earth. That is why we filed a FOIA request to expose the Biden Administration’s plans to fund the terrorist-affiliated PA and betray Israel.

Deep State Cover-Ups

Emboldened by President Biden taking office, the Deep State bureaucracy has begun to undermine the conservative agenda, shred the Constitution, and put our national security at risk.

And the Biden Administration seems happy to shield them from any consequences. The President’s team refused to comply with our FOIA requests regarding Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-15) over his direct connection with a Chinese Communist spy while he sat on the House Intelligence Committee. Rep. Swalwell’s association with this spy may have directly endangered our national security. But the Biden Administration and leaders on the Left –  including House Speaker Pelosi – refused to do anything about it. We had no choice but to file our FIRST major lawsuit against the Biden Administration.

We then filed an administrative appeal with the FBI – the first step toward filing a lawsuit – when the FBI refused to even admit or deny if they have any records related to Rep. Swalwell’s connection to the Chinese spy.

Weaponizing the IRS Against Conservatives & Christians

We also filed a lawsuit against the Biden IRS over its blatant targeting of Christians and conservatives. We told you about a Christian organization that the IRS initially refused tax-exempt status to because, among other absurd reasons, they teach the Bible and encourage prayer for our leaders. We quickly filed a FOIA to find out how this could happen again, when the last time the IRS tried this under President Obama, we took them to federal court and won.

In fact, the IRS had to issue an apology for wrongfully targeting Tea Party and conservative groups AND consent to a court order prohibiting it from ever engaging in this form of unconstitutional discrimination again.

Now the Biden Administration has taken an even bolder step by seeking to empower the IRS to target conservatives and Christians. This time, by snooping through your bank transactions. President Biden and the Left in Congress have proposed legislation that would grant the IRS access to your bank accounts if you spend more than $10,000, cumulatively, in a year. We’ve witnessed what the unfettered IRS will do with such unconstitutional power – target Christians, shut down conservatives, and audit and harass you into oblivion.

All of this has happened in just the first nine months of the Biden Presidency. We shudder to think what this Administration will do over the course of four years.
