Unfit for Office? Speaker Pelosi and the Radical Left Threaten To Manipulate the 25th Amendment in Order To Remove a Sitting President

The Left wants to not only strip President Trump of his power, but they want to usurp the power of the American people to select our own leader.

We’ve got to buckle up and be ready to take swift action.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has given us a peek at her cards. If the President wins reelection but the U.S. Senate somehow switches control, they’re not going to try another impeachment. That would be another zero for them, especially right after an election. But what they can do is manipulate the 25th Amendment and seek to remove the President and strip him of his constitutional power. This could equally be used against a potential President Biden to give the power of the highest office in the land to the far-Left Kamala Harris. In reality, it’s a direct attack on the presidency, no matter who is in office.

Speaker Pelosi announced that she is pushing legislation to allow her cronies in Congress to establish a commission with the power to declare the President of the United States -- chosen by the American people -- unfit for office.

Here’s exactly what Section 4 of the 25th Amendment says:

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.

Speaker Pelosi is trying to create this “other body as Congress may by law provide” in order to “declar[e] that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office,” thereby, along with the other provisions of the 25th Amendment, effectively removing the President and stripping him of his power. He would then have to go through the convoluted steps to try to get it back, and Congress could drag it out and ultimately would have the final say. This has never happened before.

I’ve already given the charge to our legal and Government Affairs teams in Washington, D.C., to be prepared for what I’m calling Impeachment 3.0, which will not be a traditional impeachment process but will essentially be a removal proceeding pursuant to the 25th Amendment.

I have no doubt that is already what the Left is planning to do. The Left daily claims the President is unfit for office. And now Speaker Pelosi is already trying to undermine the people’s faith in President Trump’s ability to lead or make decisions due to contracting the Coronavirus.

In a press conference, Speaker Pelosi said:

The President is, shall we say, in an altered state right now so I don’t know how to answer for his behavior. There are those who say that when you’re on steroids and or if you have COVID-19, or both, there may be some impairment of judgment.

It is obvious what they’re doing. Get ready. Speaker Pelosi is laying the groundwork to have this new commission declare the President unfit for office and strip him of his power. They would have the ability to essentially remove him from office. In the alternative, they’re setting the stage for what they might be planning if Joe Biden was elected. In either case, this is nefarious, and dangerous.

Mueller didn’t work. Impeachment didn’t work. This becomes their new vehicle for the Left to attempt removal. The Speaker did not bring this up by accident yesterday. This is all intentionally timed out.

This will be a fundamental politically motivated abuse of the operation of the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I need you to understand what is truly at stake here. You need to know what is about to take place. And we need to be ready.

Quite frankly, this is as much a threat to Joe Biden if he wins as well. The Speaker also stated:

This is not about President Trump. He will face the judgment of the voters. But he shows the need for us to create a process for future presidents.

If the extreme Left is given the power to remove a President at will and he doesn’t toe the new party line, then he could just as easily be taken out of the White House. In fact, it’s possible that might already be the idea.

The bottom line is this is an attack on the presidency. We have to be prepared to act and move forward.
