Leftist Grandstanding Over Barrett Confirmation - Sekulow Ep. 578

Following the confirmation of Justice Barrett, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer launched into a pretentious tirade on the Senate floor:

Here, at this late hour, at the end of this sordid chapter in the history of the Senate, the history of the Supreme Court, my deepest and greatest sadness is for the American people. Generations yet unborn will suffer the consequences of this nomination.

That’s an ironic statement by Senator Schumer, given opposition to Justice Barrett is, in large part, due to her supposed stance on abortion. It is our hope that those “generations yet unborn” stand a better chance with Justice Barrett occupying a seat on the Supreme Court.
