Anna Sekulow

Anna Sekulow began her work with the ACLJ in 2011 as a digital media adviser for projects involving religious liberty, international religious freedom, and the persecuted church. Her work was particularly instrumental during the successful online campaign to free imprisoned Iranian Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, who initially faced a death sentence. Since then, Anna has had the opportunity to advocate on behalf of the ACLJ's international efforts to defend religious freedom. She has spoken out on behalf of the persecuted at many venues – including churches. In addition to advocacy, she has dedicated time to assisting children in Africa and India, providing meals and care at orphanages and impoverished neighborhoods. Through this work, Anna was inspired to create an education-based organization for children in Mumbai, India and currently oversees the organization’s operations. Prior to joining the ACLJ, Anna was a digital media consultant for political campaigns, corporations, and nonprofit organizations.
