David Fonseca

David Fonseca is Deputy Director of Government Affairs at the American Center for Law & Justice. As a member of the Government Affairs team in the ACLJ's Washington, D.C. office, David works on relevant legislative and policy issues of the day. He interacts with Members of Congress and their staff to advance and advocate for the core issues of the ACLJ.

Prior to joining the ACLJ, David worked in various political capacities, including Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign and internships in the United States Senate, including the office of Senator Marco Rubio. He graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Government: Politics and Policy, where he was involved in Student Government and various other clubs. He has lived and traveled extensively overseas and is fluent in Spanish.
